Words... God's Oracles

Words come from deep within,
Holy Spirit my favorite kin.
Expression flows slow but steady,
I pray oh Lord keep me ready.
Your word is a lamp unto life,
Moving beyond a level of strife.
Your blood is redemption and truth,
A story like, Boaz and Ruth.
Oracles of God streaming free,
Willing souls may come to see.
Your words can be sharp as a knife,
Showing separation of flesh unto life.
Your oracles are as emerald and pearls,
We've experienced your fury unfurled.
Oh Lord we pray a word of mercy and love,
And know all good things come from above.
